Frequently Asked Questions:

1.) Can my child try a class before I sign her/him up?

Certainly! Drop-in classes are $12. If you decide to join, we apply that fee to the cost of the session.

2.) I just heard about your studio, but I’m late, and online registration seems to be closed. Can I still sign up my child?

Yes, but: please note that our Fall session is shorter than the Spring session. If your child joins later than 2 weeks into the session, we may ask you to consider sitting out of the holiday performance. (There is always another show in the Spring!) We take great care in preparing our students for the stage, and we don’t like anyone to feel uneasy before a performance.

3.) I signed up my child few weeks late. Can you prorate my tuition?

Tuition is not prorated. We price our class tuition three times a year: fall session, spring session and summer session. Each of these sessions is slightly different lengths (and prices) due to the yearly calendar. Parents are welcome to pay the drop-in rate ($12) per class if a student would like to try out a level or a new class.

4.) Can I pay in installments?

Yes. We require a credit/debit card on file for all families who opt in to installment payments.

5.) Why do I have to pay for tickets to the student performance?

Ticket fees help us cover the cost of the venue, event insurance, instructor staffing and other incidental show costs. We try to keep the cost affordable for all families. If you have further questions or concerns about ticket prices, feel free to contact Pam directly.

6.) Can I come by and see the studio?

Sure! Stop by anytime when we are having class. You can see when we are open by looking at the “Class Schedules” tab. Not available during those times? Just call us at 267-273-6937 to set up a time!

School policies

  1. Tuition is non-refundable. However, in the event that a child wants to defer a class or switch classes, any tuition payment can be used as a credit for future classes, no expiration date.

  3. There are no credits given for missed classes on the part of the student. In the event of cancelled classes due to weather, students are always welcome to take make-up classes at any time.

  4. We are not responsible for injuries incurred on the premises.

  5. We are not responsible for lost items.

  6. Since we are a performing arts-focused school, our classes train students on both technique and on the presentation of student work, at two times during the year: our holiday show and our Spring Musicale. Participation in the performances is not mandatory. However, consistent attendance in class is expected, as a courtesy to our teachers and the other students. Students who miss more than four classes in one session are at risk of not participating in the culminating performance.

  7. Please read our Parent/Guardian Cheat Sheet for more information about our recreational dance program.

  8. We carefully evaluate each child to ensure that he or she is in the correct level and learning at the proper pace. Level recommendations are final.
